Just born!

We have babies that have hatched on our front porch. Their mother wanted a pretty home and made a nest in one of my flower baskets. We noticed that when we would go out to water the baskets at night a bird would fly out. About a week ago I pulled the basket down to see if she had a nest and to check for eggs. Sure enough, 5 eggs were in the nest! As an expectant mother myself, I couldn't bring myself to destroy the nest so I have just been watering around them. Last night I pulled it down again to see if they have hatched and they have! They are so little but already today look bigger than yesterday. The picture above is from today.
