4 Months Old

I haven't blogged much lately because we have been very busy! We have been baking and cooking, decorating, running a little on the treadmill (Owen works out in his jumparoo exersaucer!), cloth diapering, meeting up with other moms and babies, going to the library, or just playing at home.

This month Owie seems to be much stronger and more resilient. He can really hold his head steady and lift his upper body high off the floor when on his belly. He has rolled several times from stomach to back and has been close to rolling from back to stomach but hasn't done it yet. Owen has started noticing he has feet. When he lays on his back he brings them up in the air to kick anything hanging down over him. He seems to have discovered his own voice. He loves to squeal and yell while he is playing. He still babbles and coos a lot. He is generally very happy and easy going. However, he has started to dislike being in the car seat and frequently cries and screams when he is in it. We are hoping maybe Santa will bring something that might make car rides a little more fun for everyone.

We are very excited for Owen's first Christmas!
